Why do we read the original text

1. For writers like Kant & Hegel: to engage & internalize & follow their stance.

2. For writers like Nietzsche & Heideigger: I do not really know. Probably to recognize and internalize the aesthetics perspective of philosophy.

3. For Lacan: Lacan is a mirror. Reading Lacan's primary = reading yourself (sounds kitschy.)
